June 2023 Update.

The campaign group have submitted a formal report to GBC prepared by our legal team. This report sets out the basis for revocation of earlier Council decisions on certificates of lawful development. The main points are:

• The number of tents and caravans have been exaggerated
• The frequency of camping has been overstated
• The claim of year round use is not possible
• Four year intervening use by the dog pen contradicts claims of continuous use for camping & caravanning
• Technical and legal errors regarding claimed use
• Aerial  photographic evidence shows no evidence of camping and caravanning

A decision by the Council is awaited.

A Nov 2022 Application to extend further  the boundaries of the campsite to include a further portion of land has now been withdrawn.
